Hanging baskets and hanging shelves are also attractive and space saving planters.

You can even use a wall for vertical planting! There are several methods for this. One very easy method is to use mini plant pockets, have you heard of them? You may have an old shoe organizer that hangs from your door, which you can use for planting. You can clamp containers on the wall, use hooks, or use pallets for vertical wall gardening. Your limit is the wallspace you have. Empowering, right?

Another way of planting indoors is done by building shelves for planting in small spaces. Any old rack or bookshelf can be turned into a planting shelf really.
